Jay-Z has released a new song featuring his baby girl Blue Ivy Carter calling her his 'greatest creation.'
His wife Beyoncé Knowles gave birth on Saturday in New York and the proud new father was inspired by his bundle of joy and laid down a track which showcased the cries of the newborn.
In the song called Glory, the 42-year-old rapper also seemed to allude to the fact that the Single Ladies singer once lost a child.
'Last time the miscarriage was so tragic, we was afraid you disappeared,' Jay-Z rhymed and also rapped about 'false alarms and false starts.'
'All the pain of the last time, prayed so hard it was the last time.
'The most amazing feeling I feel, Words can't describe what a feeling, for real, Baby I'll paint the sky blue, My greatest creation was you.'
In the heartfelt soulful track, Jay-Z also reveals that their daughter was conceived in Paris and calls Blue a 'younger, smarter, faster' version of himself, but said the baby looked like his superstar wife.
Blue Ivy also made her debut on the track and the sound of her gurgles and cries can be heard at the end of the song which was produced by Pharrell Williams.
The little girl is the first child for the couple who have been married for four years. Her name is said to have been inspired by the pair's love of the number 4 which is IV in Roman numerals. The digit is significant for both stars as Beyoncé was born on September 4, while Jay-Z's birthday is December 4.
They wed on April 4 2008 and both have IV etched on their ring fingers in honor of that special day.
