Jennifer Lopez is reportedly giving her younger boyfriend weekly cash allowances.

Star magazine reports that the sultry superstar may be giving 24-year-old back-up dancer Casper Smart as much as $10,000 every seven days.

The insider claims that Jennifer wants Casper to be financially comfortable.

"Jen is taking extra special care of Casper," a source told the magazine. "She hated having to whip out her credit card every time they go to dinner. And it bummed her out that Casper had to borrow money from her to buy Christmas presents, including hers. So Jen figured it''s easier to give Casper a weekly stipend, and she thought $10K was a nice round number."

Casper's regular employment as a go-go dancer at a Los Angeles nightclub pays him $250 per night shift. He is blown away by Jennifer's lavish lifestyle.

'Casper''s a young dude who blows what little money he has on clothes and flashy jewellery,' the source revealed. 'It''s a whole new world for him. He''s never been on a private jet, stayed in luxury hotels or eaten at five-star restaurants before Jennifer.'

Jennifer's estranged husband Marc Anthony, whom she separated from last summer, is not happy with the arrangement.

'Marc is livid that Jennifer is throwing money away on [Casper],' the source said. 'He feels she shouldn''t be spending it on Casper. The kids are one thing, but her boy toy is a whole other ball of wax!'

Jennifer and Casper began dating in autumn of last year.

The pair have been spotted most recently having a sizzling time together in Miami earlier this month.

Jennifer's divorce from Marc has not yet been finalised. The pair have three-year-old twins Max and Emme together.

Jennifer Lopez says it would be 'awesome' to return to the show that launched her career.

The star started out as a dancer on In Living Color, a US comedy sketch television series created by Keenen Ivory Wayans.

The programme is set to return to the small screen this spring and Jennifer would be open to helping re-launch the show.

'Oh my God, I didn't even know! That's awesome,' she told Access Hollywood on Sunday.

'I haven't heard from [Keenen], but if he called me and wanted me to do something, that would be awesome.'

Jennifer went on to reveal she will always be grateful to Keenen.

He offered her a great deal of support and advice when she was younger.

'I owe Keenan a lot,' she explained. 'From the beginning of my career, he always believed in me, he always was constantly putting in my brain, 'You're gonna be a star, you're gonna be a star, do you know that?' And he was a mentor to me so I wish him the best with that.'

Keenen will host the two new special half-hour episodes.

They will feature young talent, musical performances and special guests.

In Living Color originally aired in the US between 1990 and 1994 and starred previously unknown comedians such as Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx.
