LeAnn Rimes has got a new tattoo inked on her foot which reads, 'The only one that matters.'

The country singer was inspired to get the new design after her husband Eddie Cibrian uttered the meaningful words to her.

The couple tied the knot last Spring and have taken every opportunity to gush over each other ever since.

'I'm addicted to words & sayings that mean something special to me,' she wrote on her Twitter page.

'Eddie said to me 'You're the only one that matters' so..'

She later posted a picture of the new tattoo with a caption of her thoughts on the new drawing.

'Ok. here it is! It's dainty. All of my tattoos are very feminine,' she wrote.

The 29-year-old and her actor husband have recently returned from a three week vacation where they soaked up the sun in Hawaii, took a trip to Mexico and went skiing in Colorado.

Elton John's husband David Furnish has called Madonna 'desperate' and a 'narcissist.'

The stinging attack came after Madonna took home the prize for Best Original Song at last night's Golden Globes and beat Elton who was also nominated in the same category.

David had immediately taken to his Facebook page when the Material Girl was announced as the winner the song Masterpiece from her movie W.E. that she also directed.

'Madonna. Best song???? F*** off!!!' he wrote. Elton had earlier said that Madonna had 'no f***ing chance of winning.'

But David was seemingly still seething and later continued his rant on the social networking site.

'Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit,' David said.

'Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in its narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.'

Elton was nominated for his Lady Gaga collaboration Hello Hello from animated film Gnomeo and Juliet.

'Oh. I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He's known to get mad at me,' Madonna told the BBC after the ceremony. 'I don't know, he's brilliant and I adore him. He'll win another award and I don't feel bad.'

The two musical icons have been feuding for years when the Rocket Man slammed Madonna's win of Best Live Act at the 2004 GQ Awards.

'Since when has lip-synching been live?' he said sarcastically at the time.

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon have a 'strong bond,' his father James Cannon says.

The America's Got Talent host was hospitalised over the holiday for mild kidney failure and James has revealed that the health scare has had a positive effect on the couple's relationship.

James opened up to Us Weekly and said that his son and daughter-in-law were very committed to each other.

'Nick and Mariah have a very strong bond,' James told the publication. 'If anything, this unexpected illness has made them closer than ever and appreciate one another even more.'

'She would stay in the hospital overnight to support him. Nick and Mariah are really good for one another ' they have so much in common and can make the other one laugh.

'So they managed to cope even though Nick was pretty sick. But he is glad to be home now and his whole family is pleased about that also.'

James added that Nick will need to change what he eats going forward to ensure he stays healthy.

'The doctors have ordered him to rest and make some adjustments to his diet too,' James added. 'It has been an educational process for him, and he is determined to make those changes and stay away from soft drinks and too many sugar-based foods now.'
