Demi Lovato 'thought she would be sick' at her first performance.

The singer-and-actress found fame on Disney show Sonny with a Chance, which she left last year.

Demi, 19, admits that she was not always a fan of being on stage. Her first performance was terrifying.

'I was so nervous that I thought I might be sick, but I was also really excited,' she told OK! magazine. 'Once I got out there I loved it!'

Demi is now deeply devoted to her flourishing career. The star sets her sights high and is interested in collaborating with some of her favourite artists soon.

'There are so many musicians I'd like to work with,' Demi gushed. 'I can't name just one. I'd really love to work with Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Eminem. They are all so talented.'

Demi went rehab in 2010 to be treated for 'emotional and physical issues'. She has battled an eating disorder which she's been open about in the hope it will help other young people.

Demi has thrived since being released from treatment.

Her new album Unbroken was released last autumn.

Demi Lovato says school was much 'harder' on her than the entertainment industry.

The singer-and-actress was bullied when she was younger, with things getting so bad she was eventually removed from mainstream education and taught at home.

In 2010 she went to rehab, and has spoken openly about her struggle with eating disorders and self-harm. Demi knows many think her problem stem from her career starting with Disney at a young age, but she insists that isn't the case.

'I'm 100% grateful for the roles I've been given, and I've had really supportive people around me. People say the entertainment industry is tough, but school was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through,' the 19-year-old told Glamour magazine.

Talking about the bullying she went through is still difficult for the teenager. As she's learnt to deal with her issues she has come to realise none of it was her fault.

'I truly don't know why the bullies picked on me,' she said. 'I was teased about my weight, called names, called fat. I was just a normal kid. It was totally out of line.'

Demi Lovato 'couldn't stop smiling' as she danced with Wilmer Valderrama on Wednesday night.

Demi and Wilmer were rumoured to have split earlier this month after the songstress posted a Twitter message about not needing a man.

Despite speculation, the pair were spotted having a great night out at Hollywood disco Beacher's Madhouse this week.

'Right after Wilmer arrived, he made sure to say hi to Demi, who was sitting with Kim Kardashian,' an eyewitness told Life & Style magazine. 'He kissed both of them on the cheek, and Demi couldn''t stop smiling. He kept making her laugh.'

Demi and Wilmer were incredibly tactile with their affection throughout the night.

'Around 2am, Demi grabbed Wilmer and hugged him,' the source continued. 'She kept her arms around him as they chatted with a friend. They definitely didn''t seem to be over each another!'

When the pair were not embracing, they were dancing.

'They danced together to 50 Cent''s In Da Club and she kept her arms around him the whole time,' the eyewitness added. 'They were facing each other, mouthing the lyrics to one another, and looked to be having a great time.'

Demi and Wilmer have been dating off-and-on since 2010.

Demi Lovato love split rumours

Demi Lovato has hinted that she has split from her boyfriend.

The 19-year-old was rumoured to have reconciled with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama after they were seen kissing in public late last year.

But now the Skyscraper singer appears to have had a change of heart regarding the opposite sex, detailed in a series of posts on Twitter about relationships.

'The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man,' she wrote on the social networking site.

She had earlier posted a quote by Marilyn Monroe.

'A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left,' Demi wrote.

The starlet and the 31-year-old actor were reportedly out together over the weekend.

But the former Disney star has recently been tweeting about 'loyalty' and thanking her 'friends who stand by my side' leading to suggestion that the pair may have split.
