BBC Radio Two DJ Janice Long returns to Liverpool to host the launch party of Man Get Out's latest single 'Berlin' at Mojo on Saturday 28 January 2012. The event is a celebration of the much anticipated latest single from the band, which is released on Keep Out Records at midnight on the 28th.

The story of how Janice Long encountered Man Get Out is a veritable fairy tale. They were performing at a low key underground venue in Hoxton, London and unbeknown to them Janice was an impressed onlooker. Soon after the gig, the band switched on the radio in their van to hear the track 'Geronimo' being blasted down the airwaves. It was only the start of things to come as they received rave reviews from listeners, and were subsequently invited to the BBC studios for a live session on Radio 2 with the Bootle born DJ.

Ever since presenting a show on BBC Radio Merseyside, Janice has been an aficionado of new Liverpool music. In recent years she has championed The Wombats and The Zutons to mention just two, and the love affair continues with new band Man Get Out.

2011 saw Man Get Out hit the ground running on the Liverpool music scene with their debut EP 'This is What Happens When You Whisper Through A Megaphone'. The launch of 'Berlin' in 2012 will undoubtedly see the bands momentum continue.

Lloyd, Rob, Joe, Chris and Lars who together form Man Get Out recorded the track in Studio 1 in Parr St Studios. Produced by the up-and-coming Tony Draper and mixed by Al Groves of Sandhills Studios - the track is an absolute delight.

'Berlin' is available for purchase on all major online retailers from midnight on the 28 January 2012. There will also be a limited physical release on the same day. We've had a sneak preview of the single and it's no wonder the boys are excited about this launch party.

To see Man Get Out + special guests Guardians and The Thespians @ Mojo Liverpool and for your opportunity to hear Janice talk about the Liverpool music scene both past and present advance tickets can be bought HERE for just £5 in advance (or £7 OTD). You may even get a free drink thanks to the sponsor for the evening ' Jeremiah Weed!
