Motley Crue kicked off their heavily promoted residency at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Cafe on Thursday with a show that would make Sin City proud.

It wasn't just the Crue on the stage, it was a whole host of Vegas and circus performers including little people, some pretty sick clowns, aerialists, stilt walkers and, of course, a few show girls.

As far as the music, it was a mix of the hits and some rarities such as Bastard, which they haven't performed live in 15 years and Piece of Your Action whose last performance was in 2000. Along with hard rocking, there was a four-song acoustic set in the middle of the show.

The set list (which is changing slightly each night):

Main Set

Live Wire
Wild Side
Too Fast For Love
Saints of Los Angeles
Shout at the Devil
Afraid
Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)
Without You (acoustic)
On With the Show (acoustic)
Bastard (acoustic)
Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) (acoustic)
Looks That Kill
Piece of Your Action
Primal Scream
Dr. Feelgood
Smokin' in the Boys Room
Girls, Girls, Girls
Kickstart My Heart

Encore

Home Sweet Home

It's only a rumor at this time but, according to the site bravewords.com, a source has reported that KISS and Motley Crue will tour together in the autumn.

If the report is true, it would most likely be a KISS headlining tour in support of their album Monster with Motley Crue in a support role.

KISS should have the recording of the Monster album in the can according to members of the group although no timeframe has been set for the release.

On the other hand, Motley Crue may be in a bit of an upheaval. They are playing a short residency in Las Vegas in February; however, lead Vince Neil has said that he might be leaving the group. "This is all about me thinking about the second half of my life, thinking about my future, and that future might not include Motley Crue after Vegas."

We will pass along any further developments on this rumor when they become available.
